Al'Fez cooking sauces have been developed with hob cooking in mind, so you don't need to own or use a tagine when using their sauces. The name Harissa comes from the Arabic verb 'harasa' meaning 'to pound' or 'break into pieces'. It's thought to originate from Tunisia, where shoppers in spice souks watch it being pounded out while waiting. Just add chicken, serve with Moroccan spiced couscous and a flatbread.
